Privacy, plainly.
Mítho is a small language-learning tool. We collect the minimum we need to run it — your email, the conversations you have with the tutor, and the lessons and drills you complete — and nothing else.
What we collect
- Your email address (for sign-in).
- The text and audio of your conversations and lesson attempts.
- The mistakes the tutor flags, so you can drill them later.
- Anonymous usage events (page views, errors) to keep the app working.
Where it goes
Your data lives in our database (Supabase). When the tutor speaks or listens, your text and audio briefly transit through AI providers — currently Google (Gemini), Groq (Whisper), and Cartesia (TTS) — under their respective privacy terms. We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not share it with third parties beyond what is strictly necessary to run the tutor.
What you can do
You can request a copy of your data, or its deletion, by emailing [contact email]. We aim to respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Changes
If we update this policy in any material way, we'll surface a notice the next time you sign in.
